Religious Leaders in Politics

Religious leaders are extremely wise, intelligent and can put forth very relevant points on improvement of the political situation of a particular region. Religious leaders have an enormous amount of followers who blindly support everything proposed by the leader and I as a responsible member of the society do not disagree or contradict their beliefs, I just believe that these beliefs can lead to some severe consequences. The people of a republic do not have to be dependant on one person to take this essential decision that can change the course of their entire country or government. Religious leaders can be biased towards a government and can mislead the people in a pessimist direction and the administration as a whole will suffer. That is why the society is biased towards a particular republic in elections.

People say that choice in democracy is extremely important and they can follow any Guru they want to and they believe that their conceptions are similar and in several cases, it has benefited society. Beliefs, an essential aspect of every single choice and I believe that they are being filtered and polluted. We will not put a barrier to the opinions of religious leaders but what we have to do is to give the people  knowledge and information so that they can be led in the right direction, we will convert their illiteracy in these aspects to contradictions into the true decisions. Politics is manipulated by these religious governments and they operate from outside the system and we must help the public have the independence to follow what they as themselves believe in. We will help them make these well-informed decisions through myriad techniques. This will lead to the choice of society on the merits of the political party and not the beliefs of one person.

Religious leaders think about what is advisable for their own religion but I would just like to remind the proposition and the panel that a country houses various religions, the people must look into the advancement of our country and society as a whole. How would it affect our country? What can they provide? These are some questions that an individual must ask himself and if we only look at the religious benefits that are put forth, the country will start becoming inclined to a particular religion’s welfare while others will fail. The diversity of countries will shatter and crumble. Nobody wants the pillars of equality to fall .Trust is the most important thing in the world and the people should not trust the religious leader without thinking twice, they should trust the political party they want to implement.

The proposition states that religious leaders only look out for the betterment of society and they are true to the community. Then, how would you explain the scandals of Baba Ram Rahim and how he took part in several political decisions.
